Josh Doorenbos

Josh and Bethany Doorenbos and their six children moved to Harrisburg in fall the of 2023 to pursue their dream of planting a church.

Both grew up (Josh in Boyden, IA; Bethany in Jackson, MN) and attended college in the area, before moving to Sioux Falls so Josh could attend seminary.

Bethany has the joy of staying at home to homeschool their kids while Josh has worked in various ministry capacities, mostly in Youth and Music ministry, for a decade, most recently for five years in Washington, IA.

Josh felt a call to church planting, and after much prayer, landed here in Harrisburg, SD. The Lord was gracious and we began services in Easter of 2024.

Josh and Bethany both have a passion for family worship and discipleship, with Josh especially being passionate about going deep in our understanding of the Bible and how to live it out consistently as individuals and families.

We are excited to be here and to see what the Lord has in store for us as we get to know our neighbors and seek to glorify God in Jesus Christ by proclaiming his Word!
